I was born in Anne Arundel General Hospital, in Annapolis, Maryland. I spent the first six months of my life in bucolic Severna Park, MD. Actually, I have no idea if Severna Park was bucolic; it probably wasn't and isn't.
My parents raised me well. They gave me appreciation of art and literature, as well as baseball and basketball. I'm not really sure which is more important, but I do know that I was moved as much on October 26, 2005 as I ever have been by Shakespeare.
There are lots of things I think I've figured out, none of which are important in any way, shape or form. All the important things? I figure I'm farther away from figuring them out than I was 20 years ago.
Baseball, basketball, history, fiction, laughing at the foibles of others.
